…for those who never give up and are doing what they love no matter what!

Month: January 2015

  • I’m craving for the sun right now!

This weekend it started to snow and there is a lot of ice on the ground. I was supposed to open the track in Kungsbacka on Tuesdays & Thursdays from now on… but this is now on hold cause of this, bummer.

I haven’t been to the gym as much this week cause I’ve had a cold. This turned out to be a good thing for once. My legs are not that sore anymore and for the second time I noticed that having a rest is something I just got to out in my schedule. Been pushing so hard lately so it was a good time to step back a bit. I hope I will start again at the end of this week.

Above you see a photo from a hot day this summer in Malmö. See the movie edit where this picture is taken from here: https://vimeo.com/101835208

  • The struggle continue

1 month left off my strenght period and I must say that I’m getting there. For the moment I’m on a 4 day recovery mode and I already miss the gym, sick!

  • My first vlog post for my new channel for 2015 is now up

My first vlog post for my new channel 2015 is now on! How to put a bmx cruiser in a DK golf bike flight bag | Dinny Zerge Bmx cruiser Vlog – Episode 1

  • Yesterday I did the last two tattoos for my project

Yesterday I did the last two tattoos (what I know of) for my project! Here is the result in a semi vlog.

Right now I’m working a lot with the graphics for me as a brand and for the blog. I also in contact with some companies about sponsorship, I really hope I manage to collect the remaining $2500 that I need to be able to ride all the races I’m dreaming of!

Other than this I’m cycling and gymming hardcore!

  • My bmx racing showreel 2014 is on Next Level BMX

Just got my bmx racing showreel 2014 on Next Level BMX .

Next level is a website by E.J. Dorrian where people can go in order to see the latest and greatest BMX racing video content from around the web. Go and have a look and make sure you follow it!

Here is a piece of what he wrote in the post:

We all know how hard it can be to get a sponsor to support your racing. Dinny Zerge is in the over 30 years old age bracket and going through that struggle, but instead of complaining he’s doing something about it for himself. I’ve seen a few crowdfunding efforts in BMX, but this one is serious. For your donation of $200, you can ride with Dinny forever and get your name tattooed on his arm. He’s raised almost $1700 which is already helping him get to the first race in Belgium.

  • This new year started with a street session in Berget

This new year started with a street session in Berget with Johan Dewrang, Filip Svanberg and Oskar Kindbom. I have put together a cruiser for street riding since I’ve I wanna do some harder riding and don’t want to be afraid of dropping the bike in the concrete. The bike felt really smooth but a little too long for my tasted, but it did what I wanted. I pulled 180s, manuals and smaller transfers. Now when I got this bike I will ride more of this. Johan, who have supported me with 10h of PT-time had me do some curve training and some sprints. Curve training was really cool and was all about getting close and tight.

Yesterday I went to the track in Kungsbacka. 7 people were there in the cold, but the weather were beautiful. It was a fun ride and I mostly played with my technique to find out what I can do different.

No it’s time to hit the gym!
