On Saturday morning I will first ride 2 motos, these will not be livestreamed.
I have to qualify and place myself top 4 in this two motos to go to the quarter final. The livestream will begin when the quarter final starts so I will do my best to try to get there!
Livestream time schedule: Saturday: 14:00 Sunday: 12:00
After writing on Facebook about my change of plans, Filip Svanberg’s father, Lars, contacted me and offered a spot in their bus that they had rented for this race. So I will travel with them and some other riders and parents down to Zolder, will be nice not to travel by myself! We will go to a place near the track where Outi Leinonen have rented a places to stay, will be fun.
So I got what I wanted and will ride the first race of the European Cup! I’m happy, I’m nervous and I’m stocked! Today I went to a company located in Gothenburg and got my jerseys printed, I’m really satisfied with the look!
Right now I’m preparing for this race. I changed my training from strength to speed a while ago and focusing to get alot of bike time and explosive workouts. My body and legs feels great and better than in years and I have a good feeling on my bike. All though, I’ve been checking around among the competitors from last year and they are not slow, I can tell you that 🙂 I will try to just focus on my riding and to have fun and think about the race’s we had in “Kurran” in my hometown Kallinge when we were kids.
This experience is a dream come through and I’m so glad that I made this happen for myself and that I had the guts to ask you for support! Thank you, supporter, friend and family!

Happy Friday, here is a Bmx racing edit with my now 17 month year old son! So fun that I now can ride with him at the track and that he likes it! Ps. Don’t forget to watch the CAROLINA NATIONALS at usabmx.com this weekend!
Every year here in Sweden they have Vasaloppet. Vasaloppet is an annual long distance (90 km) cross-country ski race (ski marathon). It is the oldest, the longest, and the biggest (in terms of participants) cross-country ski race in the world.
Yesterday when I went to the gym I saw a sign that they would arrange a four hour cycling class during Vasaloppet and streaming the race on a big screen. I didn’t think more of that til this morning when I woke up at 6:45 am and felt, damn I have to try that!
So after a fast breakfast with two sandwiches and plate of oatmeal porridge I went to the gym. I the car on the way over I decided on forehand that I would hold a pace a little bit under my normal levels because the race will be for so long. At 8 pm I sat on the bike and around 12 o’clock and 110 km later I walked out of the gym. My legs are a bit sore but otherwise I feel pretty good I must say. Next year I will do it again it was really fun! No I have to eat, eat and eat…
Hey, folks! Here is my bmx cruiser racing bike for 2015. The bike is down to 8240 grams and are now 510 grams lighter than last year! It will be awesome to ride this frame and parts this year!
Went and picked up a new pair of chain tensioner at twowheelsports.se. The Tangent torque converters looks really clean an are all black and the weight is 41g. I will be cool to use a chain tensioner with dual adjusting screws!
The progress is going in the right way, I’m stronger, sore and happy! This Tuesday the bmx training started for real at the track here in Kungsbacka. The first session was awesome even though the track was really soft. Just pumped around the track and getting the hang of it.
I also had a session with my son at the track for the first time. He rode his strider at the last straight around the finish line. It was so fun to see the smile on his face when I jumped by him! Afterwards we had a nice picnic in the sun, the spring is here for a moment!
I’m now up and running! My video blog intro is done and the t-shirt contest winner has got his shirt. The design of the 6 faces on the back of my racing jersey is done and the flight tickets and hotels in Belgium are received. The three companies that bought a spot on my blog is now up and so are the supporter page. The four tattoos on my arm are now healed and today I’ve started to reach out with emails to companies around the world. If you never seen my project go to some of my earlier post, you can start here.
So far I already have a few prospects that I’ve been in contact with for some weeks and I really hope that it will turn into a good and fun deal for my journey. I can’t tell witch I’m talking with at the moment but I can say that it’s a brand that I would be happy to wear!
How hard should I push?
It’s 8 Weeks and 3 Days until I need to collect the remaining $2500 and today I’ve starting the hunt. I’ve been giving this a thought for a while, how do I make this in a way that not feel to spammy? I decided to not go the “list style-mail-road” and give each company I contact a real research so I keep up my pride of what I’m doing. If I were a company, I would be more happy with some thought behind the letters. But of course the journey, story, dream and needs will be the same in each letter. Otherwise I would have to sit here with this as a full-time job and that is not possible at the moment, I have to train and ride!
I’m ready
For the moment, I’m working my strength at the gym and I really enjoining it. My progress this year is much better than previous. All the research has paid off and my body control is almost like when I was 20! 🙂 The snow makes it hard to ride at the track in Kungsbacka but to compensate this I ride out on the streets a couple of times a week.
I’m starting to feel ready to ride this season of 2015 and I’m stoked as… I just need the final sponsorship on the front of my jersey which will help me getting to all the races this season.
So if you know anyone that could have an interest in supporting my journey, tell that person or company or send me a message about it, help me out! I would be so thankful! Do you as a company think that $2500 is too much then contact me and we can come up with a solution that fits us both!
I felt that I really wanted to have this video in the new vlog format. For those of you who haven’t seen it, it’s from this summer when me and my son was riding our “Standard Byke” bikes around Gothenburg. Here it is, Episode 03 | Me & Penn!
