  • Summer challenge 2018

    Hej!

Vincent här. Jag kommer börja blogga här på dwbtoftshit! Bloggen. Jag är 13 år bor i Märsta kör också för Märsta bmx klub och dwbtoftshit!

Senaste helgen så tävlade jag i Kungsbacka “summer challenge”! I klassen 13-14.

Vincent Molén is joining our team!

We are totally happy to present our new team member Vincent Molén and I want to start this presentation with a story that we will have in our hearts here at dwbtoftshit! forever!

Besides from results and hard cool tricks there are some moments in your riding and racing life that gets stuck with you for the rest of your life. One of these moments we have with Vincent during the Nordic championship in Helsinki, Finland 2016. Me, Dinny, had just rolled over the finish line in the cruiser finals and was walking up against our racing tent when I saw this kid, Vincent, standing by the fence with his bike crying. I went up to him because I thought he might need some comfort. I don’t remember the conversation, but I met his dad who told me that Vincent just won the Nordic Championship and that the tears were only pure happiness and a release due to nerves, all that training and focus he had built up to this race.

It’s hard to get this moment in to text, but for me, this was like getting a flash back from all my goals, achievements and obstacles during my younger years. I stood there for a while my whole body started to shake and my eyes turning into a river. With tears in my eyes, I walked away against our tent with a feeling that I never will forget and with a reminder of what it’s all about, passion! This story is why we think Vincent is a perfect rider in our team. No matter what result or achievement he will have during his coming season he always will have his passion with him and that is something we values more than winning races.

Aside from this story Vincents is a 13 year old bmx racing rider with great style and awesome flow and he is already doing races with his bike around the European Bmx Racing tracks. He might look harmless but out on the tracks he’s going all in, for the win. We think it’s so rad to have Vincent on board and we are looking forward to watch him progress into the higher classes of Bmx Racing.

Keep up the good work and welcome to us Vincent!

  • Today we released our new 2019 riding collection: The Game Change Collection – Version 1.0

Today we released our new 2019 riding collection: The Game Change Collection – Version 1.0

After 1 1/2 years of work we are today presenting our new riding collection for 2019, The Game Changer Collection. As with our previous collection all our garments are drawn and tailored by us and this way we can present something that we are proud of. The Game Changer was born through punk and hip hop and with a mindset of ”I did it my way” and we decided that this will be a living collection that we will continue to develop so this is Version 1.0.

We wanted a riding jersey that reflects freedom, away from all the traditional thinking when it comes to mx jersey and a pair of riding pants that a parkour or free runner could wear without any problem. With influences from the American motocross and bmx scene we merged the design of a mx jersey with a basketball tank top, all in one-piece. One cool detail is that the mx jersey can be changed into a basketball tank top if you cut off the arms and collar of the jersey. This makes the jersey perfect for saving our planet by reuse and recycling. Lets face it, a problem many riders have after a hard crash is that the scratch their arms on the jersey. Now, instead of throwing the jersey away you can just cut off the arms and collar of the jersey and bam, you have an awesome basketball tank top to wear at the summer party. We also made a pair of rad stretchable motocross pants that we chose to call Stretchy, with these mx pants you can add some extra movement during your air time. To match the jersey and the pants we have also made a pair of new all black mx gloves that are based on our previous model, but now with even more strength. Check out the movie below to see the pieces in action.
