  •  Stealth Elite Cruiser 24″ Carbon Fiber by SINZ

Just got a new fork, the Stealth Elite Cruiser 24″ Carbon Fiber by SINZ and it weighed in at 649grams. I really like the look of it. It doesn’t have that carbon look that I dislike and it matches my bike perfectly. This one is 200grams lighter than my Elevn Pro 24″ fork and its gonna be interesting to ride a carbon fork.

First time at the track: Right from the beginning the bike felt lighter in the front just like it supposed to another fun thing is that the bike felt much shorter, I liked it! I wasn’t sure if I would race with this on Sunday but after the practice today I’m totally sold on this fork, it fits me perfectly. I have only ridden it for 1h so I can’t really tell all the differences but it felt a lot stiffer in a really good way!

  • Parental leave

Yäää I’m now in week one out of eleven months of parental leave. Me and my 11 month old son have been going to playgrounds, public baths, gym and other gatherings. He’s so darn fun to hang with. Today he joined me at the track (along with his beautiful mother) for my training where I mostly ran starts, most of them were perfect! He seemed to enjoy being around the track, running in the dirt and watching bikes… Soon he can take his Standard “strider” Byke and ride with me, yay 😉

This sunday I will go with Ola and his sons + Lars to Råde, Norway, for a one day race. So for the moment I’m training for the race with a lot of starts and smoothness. Looking forward to riding that fun track again!

  • Björn came down from Stockholm

This weekend Björn came down from Stockholm with his family and we had a two day training camp in Kungsbacka and Lerum. Without talking about it this session was all about jumping. It’s so fun to ride with someone that struggles with the same stuff on the track. The weekend turned out awesome, I jumped two jumps that I’ve not managed before so the progress feels good. Damn I wish we lived in the same area Björn!

  • This year I have had a awesome ride with my Standard bike 125-RC 24” frame

This year I have had a awesome ride with my Standard bike 125-RC 24” frame and I’m now thinking of what my ride should be next year. Should it be the same frame that I love or a new one? I sent a mail to Jess at Standard byke co about what I can modify if I order a new frame from them. I also asked Supercross Bmx about their frames and options. I’m looking around and we will see how it turns out, back on aluminum or one more year on steel?

  • I won all heats and finals both day

The weekend went well and I won all heats and finals both days. On Sunday’s warm up the rain was pouring down and they talked about the contest may be canceled. Many complained about the conditions, but I love the feeling it gets when driving on slippery turns and mud, it reminds me of motocross and it’s funny as hell. Eventually the rain stopped and the track-crew patched up the track, awesome job!

As the overall winner of Swe Cup, I can’t be nothing but satisfied but I’m looking forward until next year when it is rumored that all cruiser classes will be merged. If so there will be more riders and better fights!

Now it’s time for the winter training and I’m psyched.

Here is a movie from Saturday’s Race: http://goo.gl/0qD5oG

  • Between life and training

This week I have been training by myself a lot to save time between life and training. I’ve mostly been riding my bike and I feel that I’m more solid with my bike now 🙂 When I was at the track this Saturday it felt awesome, I had flow, technique and pure riding love. It came over me how pleased I am with the patience I have had the last two years when I haven’t stressed my self in my riding progression, just have done it in my own pace.

  • Winning round 6 of Swe Cup

I ended up winning round 6 of Swe Cup on Sunday and secured the overall victory in the cup, I’m so excited! The long-awaited gold plate now has a place waiting when the Cup is finished. My body was sorer than usual today and I went into the gate several times making tiny mistakes, clearly aware of Saturdays’ races. Not until I got to the second turn I finally got some well needed energy for the rest of the race.

Now I will recharge for the next races in Malmö in two weeks and the last races of Swe Cup. Got a question by Daniel Bergström on the track on how to train to pedal faster … Tough question but I spontaneously answered more cycling (even if it’s not on a track). Working out at the gym make you stronger and pedaling make you faster. It’s tricky, individual and again a tough question that I also want to find formula for 🙂
