…for those who never give up and are doing what they love no matter what!

Year: 2014

  • Day 2

Day 2 went well and I did my best but it wasn’t enough though, the Danish crew was to good and I finished 2th in B final. I need to train harder 🙂

After the races, the Swedish crew went to another track in Hadsund, Dragon BMX for a session. The track was awesome and had a lot of fun things to ride some of which you’ll see in the video above.

  • Day 1: First race of the year is done and I’m really impressed

First race of the year is done and I’m really impressed with the cruiser elite scene in Denmark, they were as good as I had thought!

The day started with 3 heats where the top 4 riders would qualify to the finals. I was 4 4 3 in my heats and I was the most proud of the last heat. I jumped a double that I never thought I would do and had a good flow through the track.

In the finals I had a good start but managed to land to short on one of the doubles and  lost all speed and I was dead last. After that I tried to get back but made to many mistakes, so I finished 8th. Overall I’m satisfied and for me to progress and get up to 5th place will take a clean good lap without mistakes. We’ll see what happens tomorrow on race day 2!

  • Just arrived at the hotel in Denmark

Just arrived at the hotel in Denmark with Hannes Dewrang and now it’s time to get some beauty sleep because tomorrow is race day!

  • 2 days to go until the first race

2 days to go until the first race of the year in Storvorde (Denmark) and the lineup seems awesome! My goal this weekend is to finish top 8, so we will see how it goes…

  • Team training today

Team training today with Björn and Thomas. First we met up at Kungsbacka for a 2h warm-up session including all kind of riding 🙂 Then after a lunch at a commercial burger chain we went to the new build track in Lerum and tried that track out. When we arrived we were already tired but the riding and the track were incredibly fun even though the track were under construction. Björn did the best line of the day with a dubble manual to a dubble jump right after, really clean. Need to learn that double manual thing someday…  🙂

  • A damn good gym session

Had a damn good gym session today including running, spinning, legs and arms, here´s a serious selfie!

  • Two weeks til the first race

Two weeks til the first race of the year and it starts in Storvorde, Denmark! My nervosity has all ready visited me and it feels kinda nice! It’s going to be fun to see how the danish bmx cruiser scene is and that’s why I’ll give it a try now, hope there will be a lot of riders in that cup!

I’m almost 5 practices in to my new clipless Time Atac pedals and after a few adjustments of the cleats I’m starting to feel really comfortable with them. This weekend holiday I’m spending in the south of Sweden and today I had some sprints in the dirt, loved it!

Just added this pair of Time Atac XC Carbon pedals  and the Specialized Comp MTB shoes to my belongings! Time to start riding with the clipless pedals, scary but pepped!

  • FTW bmx

This year me and Björn Berglund will race as a team, FTW bmx and support each other through this season. We co-worked on name and logo and it got a bit of love and a piece of pirate in it. More info will come…

This weekend I went to Stockholm and had a chill vacation with shopping and family stuff. On Sunday I finally got the chance to ride with Björn on his home track in Älvsjö, a really fun and tight track, we had a blast!
