  • Two weeks til the first race

Two weeks til the first race of the year and it starts in Storvorde, Denmark! My nervosity has all ready visited me and it feels kinda nice! It’s going to be fun to see how the danish bmx cruiser scene is and that’s why I’ll give it a try now, hope there will be a lot of riders in that cup!

I’m almost 5 practices in to my new clipless Time Atac pedals and after a few adjustments of the cleats I’m starting to feel really comfortable with them. This weekend holiday I’m spending in the south of Sweden and today I had some sprints in the dirt, loved it!

  • Time Atac XC Carbon pedals  and the Specialized Comp MTB shoes

Just added this pair of Time Atac XC Carbon pedals  and the Specialized Comp MTB shoes to my belongings! Time to start riding with the clipless pedals, scary but pepped!

  • FTW bmx

This year me and Björn Berglund will race as a team, FTW bmx and support each other through this season. We co-worked on name and logo and it got a bit of love and a piece of pirate in it. More info will come…

This weekend I went to Stockholm and had a chill vacation with shopping and family stuff. On Sunday I finally got the chance to ride with Björn on his home track in Älvsjö, a really fun and tight track, we had a blast!

  • Mr Sunday racer aka Björn Berglund

This weekend Mr Sunday-racer aka Björn Berglund was here in Gothenburg to have a session at the track in Kungsbacka with me. We started of early hitting the track and it felt incredible, for the first time this year I had a real jumping session and tried stuff that I haven’t done in a while, thank you for the pep Björn! It was really fun to ride with him again even though he has progressed a lot more than me 😉

At the end of the day I asked Björn if I could try to put on his SPD on my bike and have a ride. First time ever with SPD I road a few laps and I felt that this is something I need to have and ride with in the near future. Now it’s time to research this subject!

  • A little bit off my game

Last week I was a little bit off my game. It felt like I haven’t been on the bike for weeks and nothing was working for me. I guess that it feels this way sometimes. Cause of this I decided to change my bike settings. Johan at the track told me that I should try to get my bars higher because he thought my manuals looked a bit weird. So I put on a 8mm spacer below the stem and put the bars 5mm forward. Today I will try this out at the track.

  • Recovery week…

Tuesday I had a great day at the track with some technical stuff but mostly fun riding. Unfortunately I woke up with the flu the day after so there were no training until yesterday when I went for a run. So this week will be added to the calendar as the “recovery week…”

  • Thank you lifesum

7 weeks later I have reached my goal weight, from 76 kg to 68ish, yay! This went a little bit faster than I expected but I’m not 100% satisfied with the result even though my body feels smoother I still need to drop some kilos around the waist! So now I will set my Lifesum app at the goal weight of 65 kg and with a weight loss of 0,3 kg a week instead of 0,5 kg. The weight loss rate will be slower but my plan is to train a little bit harder now.

    Thank you Lifesum!
